• Why do you choose to surf Spider Surfboards: I am really fortunate to have the support from Spider Matthew Murphy, and Brandon Ballard at Emoceanl Surf. Spider provides me with unbelievable quality boards that perform under my feet and help me achieve my dreams. Spider has been really supportive, encouraging and is always willing to provide me with advice.

Bio:

I have been surfing for the last 5 years. I feel surfing with my mates, the awesome Spider Boards, the high standard coaches and high level surfers has pushed the boundaries of my sport making me hungry to do better. I started competing in 2013 and didn’t get great results so I committed myself to fitness training for the 2014 season. I came back that year and made a finals appearance at the English Nationals coming 3^rd. My goal was then set to get more consistent heat results making finals, which led up to a win. In 2015 I made more finals coming 3^rd in the Ripcurl Grom Search and the UK Pro Am.

Over the winter I continued to surf on a daily basis and keep up my fitness training so that I could surf Newquay’s notorious big wave the ‘Cribbar’ and during January 2016, I achieved that goal and became the youngest person, at aged 15 years, to surf the wave.

In the current 2016 season I have made 4 finals. I finished 3^rd in the Valentines juniors and 4^th in the Mens Open. I also came 4^th in the Night Surf and the British Schools.
